Obesity rates for adults and children in the US are shocking… According to the most recent Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) data, adult obesity rates now exceed 35% in nine states, 30% in 31 states, and 25% in 48 states.
A component of combating this epidemic is EXERCISE.
It is a fact that we are a society of lazy people.
If you do not move, you are going to die.
Harvard Medical School supports exercising every day and regularly, if possible. In fact, it can be one of the most single important things you can do for your health.
Exercise for me, is, after all, the 2nd Pillar of health.
So, what does “daily regular exercise” really mean? How can you “just move” daily?

GET FIRED UP AND MOVE GENERAL GUIDELINES:
ADULTS OF ALL AGES-
• Goal/Week = 150 minutes of moderate aerobic exercise or 75 minutes of vigorous exercise
Moderate Exercise: Brisk walking/Dancing/Chores around your home
Vigorous Exercise: Running/Swimming/Intense exercise classes
Children need 60 minutes of physical activity a day that should also include at least three days of strength training per week such as Push-ups/Pull-ups/Gymnastics
