My esteemed colleague, Mark Hyman, MD, author, speaker, and wise man with common sense advice authored this article “Are You Overweight? Do You Feel Like Crap?” It is pretty relevant. Many times have signs and symptoms we ignore, dismiss, put off until tomorrow, or are told it is just a normal part of aging. These signs and symptoms accumulate over a period of time.  They then blow up and become overwhelming and put you in crisis.

It really doesn’t have to be this way. If you pay attention, know that there’s always something you can do.

If so, welcome to FLC Syndrome, which is otherwise known as- FEEL LIKE CRAP. 

We all have had at one point or the other- felt like crap. Interestingly enough, it’s estimated that > 50% of people in the US have it or had it, and worse, have or had no clue how to fix it, and furthermore know where it comes from. It’s an issue because it’s associated with chronic diseases and a burden to those we love and those we love and society. It’s costly.

If you do nothing, nothing happens and matters usually only get worse. By taking control of your health, you can change the outcome. It’s estimated that in just a few days of being on track and doing the right thing, you can start to feel on top of your game again.

First, and foremost, stop eating fast food and sugar.  

Second, the simple solution is to eat ‘real’ food.
